Balancing Innovation, Partnerships, and Performance in the Americas
This past Wednesday I had the chance to sit in on the session “The Adaptive Supply Chain: Balancing Innovation, Partnerships, and Performance in the Americas” at Transport Logistic Americas and Air Cargo Americas.
Adam Basson of FlexChain Holdings, Megan Smith of PACKgistics, and Richard Richardson of CSCMP South Florida delivered an excellent discussion on how supply chains across the Americas can stay resilient by building stronger partnerships, improving visibility, and applying innovation with clarity and purpose.
Their insights reflected the realities many executives face today — balancing performance across regions while navigating constant change and rising expectations.
What resonated most is how closely their perspectives align with the work we do at The JR Moore Group. Many of the challenges they described are the same ones we help leaders solve through Bestshoring strategy, shared services optimization, and operating model design that combines people, process, automation, and AI in a practical and effective way.
Their conversation reinforced the importance of building adaptive, future-ready organizations — rather than reacting when disruption arrives.
Outstanding work by the entire panel for a meaningful and forward-looking session.

The 30th Annual SSOW Americas convenes in Orlando March 16-19. Here is what the agenda reveals about the design decisions GBS organizations need to make now.
Bestshoring is not a location. It is the architecture that governs where work lives, who does it, and how it is organized. This visual framework makes the hierarchy clear.
A Bestshoring Case Study in Digital & AI Readiness Milestone updates fragmented across your network. Some through EDI. Most manual. Every location doing it differently, on their own timeline. The result: stale data, missed exceptions, reactive firefighting, and the question that signals your network is running blind: “Where is my freight?” If your customers are
I recently had the pleasure of attending the CSCMP South Florida Roundtable’s panel on Florida’s evolving regulatory landscape. Kudos to Megan Smith, VP of Programs, and the organizing team for bringing Fernando Valle and Amanda Fraser from Colodny Fass to share insights on how legislation, insurance, and local regulations impact logistics operations. One insight from
